Expected Activities
Help our team prepare for the day or wrap up warehouse operations. Daily Support Crew volunteers play an important behind-the-scenes role in helping our warehouse run efficiently.
Opening Shift (6:30 AM – 7:30 AM)
Opening Shift volunteers help prepare the warehouse for the day's volunteer activities. Tasks may include:
- Setting up volunteer workstations and supplies.
- Preparing materials for daily projects.
- Organizing work areas and staging products.
- Assisting with warehouse setup and other operational needs.
- Helping staff begin special projects as time permits.
Closing Shift (1:30 PM – 2:30 PM)
Closing Shift volunteers help wrap up the day's operations and prepare the warehouse for the next day. Tasks may include:
- Cleaning and resetting volunteer workstations.
- Breaking down work areas and putting away supplies and equipment.
- Assisting the Maintenance Team with cleaning, organizing, or facility projects.
- Helping staff finish projects as time and operational needs allow.
- General warehouse organization and end-of-day support.
Please note: Volunteer assignments are determined by staff and are based on daily operational needs. Tasks may vary from shift to shift.
Volunteer Shifts Monday – Friday
Opening Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:30 AM
Closing Shift: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
Opening Shift Check-In
Please plan to arrive between 6:25 AM and 6:32 AM. The front lobby doors will be open during this time for volunteer check-in. After 6:32 AM, the building will remain locked until 7:30 AM. If you arrive after 6:32 AM, please call Te'shkia for assistance entering the building.
Age & Registration Information
Age Requirement: Children ages 15–17 are welcome to volunteer alongside an adult 21 years of age or older. See our Youth Policy here
Individuals and Families (up to 4 people): Click "Respond" to reserve your spot. Each volunteer must register separately.
Groups (max 5): If you are signing up as a Team Leader, click "Respond as a Team." Name your team, add yourself as the leader, then select your preferred shift and complete your registration. Afterward, visit My Teams and click Manage Team to add the names of all participating team members.
Other Important Information
Dress Code: Closed-toe shoes are required (no sandals or flip-flops). Please dress comfortably, as warehouse temperatures vary throughout the year.
Registration Required: Only registered volunteers may participate. We are unable to accommodate drop-in volunteers.
No-Show Policy: Volunteers with more than two no-shows may be removed from future volunteer opportunities to allow others the opportunity to serve.
All individuals and groups must register before volunteering at the Distribution Center.
